Dear Dayton Freight Customer,
Football season is one of my favorite times of year. On Saturdays, you can find me rooting on The Ohio State Buckeyes with my family! I love the discipline and teamwork it takes to be a winner on the field and in the workplace. This reminds me of the wise words from the former football player, coach and analyst Lou Holtz.
“I follow three rules: Do the right thing, do the best you can, and always show people you care.”
This quote is truer today than ever before and I am amazed at the caring and dedicated team we have at Dayton Freight. I’m convinced they are the finest people in the transportation industry. To honor them, we just wrapped up another Employee Appreciation Week where each Service Center showed gratitude with games, special meals and prizes.
Speaking of gratitude, we want to thank you, our wonderful customers, and service-driven workforce for the recent awards from Logistics Management, American Group, CaroTrans and Mainfreight. In order to provide you with top of the line service, we continue to expand operations with the most recent Service Center opening in Wichita KS. We now have a total of 58 locations throughout the Midwest. We are excited for several other expansions and openings in progress and we’ll keep you updated along the way.
