Dear Dayton Freight Customer,
It’s been a challenging year to say the least. One of the biggest adjustments for me was canceling work meetings, celebrations and employees working from home. I’ve honestly never been a fan of working from home, as face-to-face collaboration and communication are a large part of our Dayton Freight culture. I value in-person meetings and celebrating the successes of our team. But I, along with all of our employees, learned to quickly adapt in order to keep everyone safe.
I can assure you, our sales team is eager to get back on the road, the Drivers and Dock Workers are working extremely hard and our Customer Service team is available to assist you. We’re seeing the economy bounce back, and I’m sure I can speak for many when I say we’re eager for normalcy. Until then, we will focus on controlling what we can control and assisting you with all of your shipping needs.
On a positive note, Dayton Freight has successfully opened, relocated and expanded several Service Centers in 2020. Early in the year, we expanded our Burlington IA, Jackson MI and Bowling Green KY facilities. Shortly after, our Nashville TN Service Center moved to a brand-new facility. Recently, the Knoxville TN Service Center moved to a larger building and we opened a new state-of-the-art Service Center in Elgin IL. As we continue to grow, investing in these facilities allows for increased capacity and more efficient operations.
Additionally, we are humbled to be honored with awards from companies such as GlobalTranz, Echo Global Logistics, C.H. Robinson, Ryder and Wabash National. Thank you to all of our partners and customers who choose Dayton Freight as your carrier of choice!
On behalf of myself and the Dayton Freight family, we are grateful for your continued support. We wish you and your family a safe and Happy Thanksgiving!
