A1) Dayton Freight Lines’ core service area includes the states of Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. Thirty-three Service Centers are strategically located throughout this Central States region. With our Strategic Alliance Network, Dayton Freight can serve the entire United States, Canada, Puerto Rico and Guam. Please refer to our Service Guide for more information.

  A7) No, Dayton Freight Lines does not provide truckload, refrigeration or flatbed services.

  A11 This process normally takes 24 hours to complete.

  A12) Yes, go to the Customer Tools section to register and log in to fill out your claim.

  A13) On average, it takes 30 days to process a claim.

Q15) What types of drivers do you hire and how long are they away from home? back to top
  A15) Dayton Freight Lines hires P&D Drivers (City), Linehaul Drivers (Service Center to Service Center) and Combo Drivers (Driver/Dock). All drivers are required to be at least 23 years old, have a valid Class A CDL w/ Hazmat endorsement, a good MVR and 2 years of verifiable semi-truck driving experience. Typically, our drivers are home every night with some exceptions in Linehaul.
